Where we are and how to get to us

Les Castellans is located in the Var department of the South of France, mid-way along a line connecting the cities of Marseille and Nice, and 20 miles (32 kms) north-west of St Tropez on the Mediterranean coast. The nearest town of note is Draguignan.

Once we have received your booking deposit we will immediately acknowledge it and send you full directions and maps as to how to get to Les Castellans.
If you are driving from far away we can suggest which route to take.

Airports

In terms of driving time Les Castellans is:-

1 hour from Nice Airport.
Scheduled services to major French and European cities and direct flights to the USA, Africa and to the Near and Middle East.

1 hour 40mins from Marseille Airport.
Scheduled services to major French and European cities and to North Africa.

1 hour to [bold]Toulon-Hyeres Airport.[bold].
Limited scheduled services to smaller French and some European cities.

Rail Travel

Les Castellans is 20 minutes drive from Les Arcs-Draguignan SNCF station.

Full main line services, including TGV high speed trains with connections to all parts of France and with links to major European Cities, including London.

Car Rental

Car Rental is available at all the above mentioned airports and railway station. Booking in advance is essential. Collecting a rental car at Nice Airport in the summer can take a long time with the on-airport operators, especially at Nice Airport. We recommend www.truchelocation.com, an off-airport operator who will meet you on arrival and take you to your car. Several of our guests have used them with satifactory results.

We can also arrange to collect/deliver you from/to the airport and arrange a local hire car for you for your stay. We make an 'at cost'charge for doing this.
