Holiday cottage in Provence
Our home in Provence is midway between Nice and Marseille, just outside the little village of St Antonin du Var, and 10 minutes drive from the market town of Lorgues. We live in the main house, and the guest wing is attached to it, but is entirely separate with its own entrance and private garden.
The guest wing at Les Castellans has proved to be a very popular holiday cottage in Provence. It has received a Badge of Excellence from FlipKey/TripAdvisor after many positive reviews received from our guests. Many of them come back regularly. The wing is perfect for small family groups, or for couples seeking a quiet holiday.
The Pool and garden are very popular with kids, while the less active can sit back and enjoy the calm and beauty of the surroundings. Everyone appreciates the design and layout of the wing; its high ceilings, large windows and the generous dimensions of the rooms give an air of considerable spaciousness.
Wheelchairs can access the ground floor, and the layout is suitable for those with reduced mobility.
Pets are welcome. We have dogs and cats of our own and the garden is well fenced. Dogs love the walks around the vineyards and forests.
A holiday in our house in the Var will allow you to enjoy all the pleasures of Provence: sunshine, the sea, vineyards, olive groves, lakes, forests, and mountains. In amongst all this are the medieval towns and villages, full of bustle, colourful markets, restaurants, and other delights for you to explore and enjoy. It's just a hour's drive to the seaside at Frejus or St Tropez.
St Antonin du Var village with its shop and bakery is only 10 minutes walk away.
Local knowledge will ensure you get the most out of your holiday in the Var. We are usually in the main house and are always happy to advise and help in any way we can.
