'Les Castellans' our home in Provence, lies amongst the olive groves and vineyards of the Var and close to the market town of Lorgues. The spacious guest wing is totally independent and self contained, with its own entrance and private garden. Two bedrooms sleep up to four people. Pets welcome too.
The guest wing at Les Castellans has proved to be a very popular holiday cottage in Provence. We are particularly pleased that many of our guests come back time after time. The wing is very suitable for small family groups during the school holidays, and also for those whose lives are not so constrained.
The Pool and garden are very popular with kids, while the less active can sit back and enjoy the calm and beauty of the surroundings. Everyone appreciates the design and layout of the wing; its high ceilings, large windows and the generous dimensions of the rooms give an air of considerable spaciousness.
Wheelchairs can access the ground floor, and the layout is suitable for those with reduced mobility.
Pets are welcome. We have dogs and cats of our own and the garden is well fenced. Dogs love the walks around the vineyards and forests.
A holiday in our house in the Var will allow you to enjoy all the pleasures of Provence: sunshine, the sea, vineyards, olive groves, lakes, forests, and mountains. In amongst all this are the medieval towns and villages, full of bustle, colourful markets, restaurants, and other delights for you to explore and enjoy. It's just a hour's drive to the seaside at Frejus or St Tropez.
St Antonin du Var village with its shop and bakery is just 10 minutes walk away.
Local knowledge will ensure you get the most out of your holiday in the Var. We are usually in the main house and are aways happy to assist if asked.
